This piece comes from this memory from my memoir which is in the process of being written.

My very first memory was being wheeled around a lake in a baby carriage. I was 6 months old. The Lake was Culver Lake in northern New Jersey. The world was big from the height of a stroller. And I liked the circle of the lake.
